About 80/20 Healthy Habits Founder Joan Geisler and The Plan

Through her research on healing using proper nutrition, Joan developed a course of action, which she shared with her doctors. They agreed that a dual approach utilizing antibiotics, an anti-parasite drug and inflammation reducing foods would give her the best chance to overcome her illness. After 18 months of integrating nutrition, exercise and medical help, she began to heal. The crucial lesson Joan learned was that nutrition and daily exercise were strategic in overcoming her inflammation and pain.

 

Joan’s Story of Healing

One morning Joan awoke and could hardly walk. Within weeks the pain moved to her hips and shoulders. She sought advice from a number of qualified physicians. None were able to make a definitive diagnosis. Eventually two doctors identified that Joan had a bacterial infection called Mycoplasm, a co-infection of Lyme disease and a parasite.

Through her research on healing using proper nutrition, Joan developed a course of action, which she shared with her doctors.
